Regarding publisher Foy Maloy’s editorial comments in the Aug. 24 edition, I am concerned that Mr. Maloy has connected the wrong dots and extremely perplexed that he has used his publication to perpetuate a dangerous point of view, not only in his comments but in featuring columnists who have the same, inaccurately reasoned view. Contrary to what he would have us believe, control of this county is currently in the hands of tourist development folks.
